Something I wasn't expecting: I flinched often with the reality as you had each character face theirs in this final chapter.

Out of the three [putting H/D together], I liked Snape's best. For just a moment I thought you were making this ghost-Lily suggesting using the Curse Potion on Harry, but that isn't how it was, was it? She did seem to care for Harry, but it just seemed like a darker Lily for a moment, mocking (in a small way) Severus for hating Harry. But I rather love the response you had Severus say to Lily. It was a good thing for him.

I'm really happy that you ended this piece with Lucius. The first scene with him was the one that had me flinching, as I hadn't expected and was sad to read the portrait's opinion that Narcissa didn't even deign the emotion of hate unto Lucius; she completely didn't care for him. The word "indifferent" struck a chord, since it was the same feeling that Harry had for Draco in school when they weren't together. It is a rather harsh feeling.

Although I sighed a bit incredulously in Draco's part where he decided to see the fame Harry could bring the Malfoy name, it is rather good that you cracked so many lights into their dark obsession. Harry, while a bit scary saying it, said it best when he said he could have been the imposter. Obsession is that strong of an emotion. That part where Harry listed the three probably thoughts going on in the peoples' minds was the other thing that made me flinch. This was such a reality-based [in the aspect of no fancy love story] and hard-core story, that was both a joy and a great sadness to continue reading.

You've tackled these enigma characters well [Lucius and Severus]. And I'm really happy for Harry and Draco. Thanks for explaining the Curse potion. Happy Holidays.
