It's interesting to watch the various characters grow more self-aware. Harry and Draco stand a chance of making a real relationship because of it; Lucius is regaining his life. The imposter and Snape, however, aren't growing. The imposter's obsession is too all-encompassing for that. And Snape believes he knows all there is to know. "Pride goeth before the fall?"
