Well, I had the hardest time getting past those first few chapters. They were so heartbreaking that I kept wanting to turn back, but I just couldn't. This is not my typical read, not by a long shot, but the honesty and courage of both Harry and Draco is simply superb. I get the sense that everyone has hated Draco up until this point, and while I can see why, I have to say that I can totally see what Harry says about loving him because he's more who he is than anyone else. Draco is being himself, apologetically, and changing that can't be easy. I'm so very sorry that Scorpius had to get hurt for Draco to see the truth of what beauty really is, but I'm so very glad that he's starting to see that. I can't wait to see how this plays out! :-D
