The not-quite-Draco you have sort of reminds me of the fic where there is a Draconius(?) who goes hopping through different possibilities/circumstances/dimensions (can't remember the exact word) trying to make sure Draco appreciates what's right in front of him (which is, of course, Harry). Is yours something like this?

Anyway, while I thought it was written well, I like what I've read of this one better. Your plot seems more involved and built upon, somehow.
