i want to hope that draco will abandon his foolish plans, but i think that would be too optimistic of me :(
i love lucius more and more as this story progresses. it makes me sad to find out how much he cared for narcissa but failed to show her, and i wonder how differently things could've turned out if only he had opened up to her.
My wand and my will will rise against them from that time forwards, and they will be dead. It does not matter if it takes months or years. They will die.
this line makes me wonder if she has anything to do with impostor!draco - is she perhaps trying to get rid of this crazy draco b/c the evil in him is eating away at whatever good he might possess? hmm, curiouser and curiouser!
i was just thinking of how different the harry in this story is from the one we see in bloody but unbowed. over there, harry is OVERLY cautious and suspicious, and finds it so difficult to understand that draco truly cares for him [even though draco often acts like a git or does the wrong thing]. whereas in this story, harry's convinced of draco's "purity" from the very beginning and nothing anyone does can sway his opinion.
