Thank you for commenting! There's one more chapter to go, so this isn't quite the culmination.

It was hard to write. Some of the things Ron said made me wince (and made me wonder if they were believable; just because I know people in real life who believe them doesn't mean I can put them on the screen/page convincingly, since I don't have the same force of belief behind them). I think Harry's friends still don't understand the situation, and never will until he explains the whole truth behind Metamorphosis. But he needs to trust them more than he does right now in order to do that.
