Oh, yes, so do I. I can't see Draco content with not being the most important person in his lover's life, and especially not when he had to struggle to make the lover notice him the way he had to struggle with Harry.

Harry may have felt some guilt about not fighting hard enough to get Muggleborns accepted in the wizarding world, which is why he didn't use it.

And thank you! Harry does want Ron and Hermione back. But it's important to note that he was prepared to give them up if they wouldn't agree to the tests he wanted to put them through; he would have seen that as their choosing their prejudices/their curiosity over him.
