You might be looking for the Sacrifice Arc, by lightningwave. That was an epic seven book series, and Harry was abused, and it was an AU where Harry had a twin brother, Connor. Lightning's style is similar to lomonaaeren's, and I've wondered myself if they aren't the same person, but from what I can tell, they're not. So that might be what you're looking for.
