I think details are part of what makes a long fic like this fun to read. If it's just a straight, relentless plotline without many side-trips, the story probably doesn't need to be novel-length.
Maxwell and Draco would drive each other crazy. Or rather, Maxwell would drive Draco crazy and Draco would make inconsequential attempts at revenge. :)
The next part of the plan confirms why they brought Nusante. The major problem at this point is that I could have written one very long chapter and one very short one, but instead I split the action over a cliffhanger.
