Why did I read this, instead of studying for tomorrow's exam? Simple: I couldn't help myself :P This was one of the stories I was looking forward to.
This was an excellent first chapter. I like this Harry, even if I feel sad for him. He doesn't seem to be sad, but he's certainly neither happy nor satisfied with his life. The way he acts.. He is a mature pre-Hogwarts Harry.
He had learned not to look too far ahead or demand achievements of himself that he couldn’t fulfill
He sounds so resigned. I wonder if that state of mind doesn't hinder him, how will he know what he's capable of if he wont try because he lacks faith in himself?
Sometimes he woke and wondered if he was really living his own life, or one he had rented by mistake.
I loved that line. I think everyone hss gone through that at least once.
I liked Lucius too. Draco, on the other hand... 7 years and he hasn't mature at all. He needs to grow up. I'm curious about how'll he react before this Harry, so different from what he's used to.
Congratulations in making me dislike Emptyweed. He needs to be put in his place.
I can't wait to read more (and to read all the chapters of AMWM I couldn't).
