Excellent, once again you managed to walk around a subplot, making it both intriguing and not succumbing to the temptation to melodamatise it into more than it should be, not letting it lead the story in another direction from the main one. Well done.

I like the way things proceeded though I wonder when one of Harry's pretences of power above his actual will fall apart and betray that he is not that powerful, even if he is still the top of the pyramid in a society where power is a basis for respect and status.

I guess now the confrontation with Ron and Hermione has to be dealt with in one manner or other. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Thanks for the pleasure.
