Thank you! In this case, I knew what I wanted Harry to discover, and it was only from his POV, so I think that made it easier to develop his characterization. And who knows, this might even be epilogue-compliant in some ways; I think the future is very open after this fic.
I'm glad Draco's loss felt real. I usually write stories that portray him as recovering easily after the war, and I've read a lot that do, so it was a struggle to turn that around and portray it from the other side.
Draco's letters were essentially love-reassurance letters to himself. I didn't put one because I didn't think I could hit the right tone while writing from Harry's POV.
I may write a sequel, but at this point, it doesn't look likely. I really like this ending.
