I kind of don't follow Harry's logic at the beginning of the chapter: You find someone chained to the wall who's obviously been abused and your reaction is "lets see what he knows about Ron and Hermione" instead of "wait, someone put you here and - more importantly - someone's keeping you here thus there is a person involved who may return at any moment."??? Although - I suppose JK's Harry isn't particularly bright either.
