Thank you! I wondered how well the confidence would come across when Harry couldn't really explain why he trusted Draco. But then, much of what he values from Draco is the effect Draco has on him, rather than the cause of that effect.

The flowers helped a lot to make the fic more surreal and dreamy, I think- and that was the only way I could envision the present-time relationship working. (My lack of experience with actually writing D/s fics, let me show you it).

This is, I believe, the only kind of total power exchange I can truly accept. (Well, there is one other fic with Draco as the submissive that I liked, but that one was so heavily symbolic I was never sure it was a total power exchange story). And yes, the peace and the love are very important to Harry. He doesn't need pain, he needs subjection and surrender.
