The meeting with Ginny was both good and bad. For one thing, she made Harry understand she wants to be friends with him, something he wants. It means that he’ll be able to go to the Burrow and really enjoy himself, too. But! When Harry said he was taking the potion she said ‘good’, and that’s something he’ll remember. I don’t blame her for that, now that you explained what Harry really did, her fear is more understandable Besides, she doesn’t know what it does, only that it’s a mean for Harry to prevent that for ever happening again.
…So Harry can eat someone’s magic? Now that certainly could come in handy.
I loved the first scene! Sometimes you feel angry and you want to be angry, Harry delaying drinking potion for a little while was so real. Made me start thinking he must have grown accustomed to the potion dealing with his anger. Does he know how to deal with the emotion? Because that’s what he’ll have to do when he stops drinking it, and he seemed really overwhelmed that time when he forgot to take it.
I’m really worried about Draco, and all those things Daphne said. Not about Harry, I think his magic is too strong for anything Daphne could do to really hurt him (yeah, I may have a little too much faith in him). Draco, on the other hand… what other spells did her put on him? Or is she just trying to scare him (more)? I’m really looking forward to what Draco is planning. And I hope it works, at least a bit (I like it when he’s able to defend himself), and that it won’t backfire on him.
Can’t wait for next chapter!!
(I really want to read Changing of the Guard, but I don’t think I could handle the angst right now. I’ll better wait until it’s finished, any idea approximately how many chapters it’ll have?)
