"Bastardy/Opportunity" is going to take longer than I thought it would- probably 16- or 20,000 words. The only drawback to this is that that means twelve or fifteen days before I can post it, depending on how long it gets, if I wait until it's finished. So I'm asking for opinions here.

Ah but will this affect the posting of the other two stories I've grown addicted to/dependent on? : ) That is the real question!

I would say whichever you decide works just keep feeding me fic and I'm a happy girl!

No, it wouldn't. I'll be working on "Bastardy/Opportunity" on the third day out of three, thus it shouldn't disrupt the posting schedules.

Noo... After reading the comment above I will allow myself to move my "post in parts" vote to the one-shot! *already has Practicing Liars withdrawal*

Don't worry, this won't affect it one way or the other.

Oooooo. I vote for one big post.... or at least, you could finish 'Liars' and 'Soldier's Welcome'....... and THENNNNN start posting what you have!?

Either way..... MOAR! >O)

Both those stories will be much, much longer than this one, I promise!

I went for the big one-shot, becasue I prefer if it didn't affect the posting of Soldier's Welcome (It's become one of my favourites :D). Though I'll be happy no matter what you decide, I'm sure.

Thanks! It won't affect it one way or the other, because they're only worked on one day out of three as-is, and "Bastardy/Opportunity" will be worked on on the third day.

It depends for me as well on whether or not you would continue posting installments of the other stories in the meantime. I cannot go cold turkey! Otherwise, the plot does sound like one that might be best read in one go....

Yes, I will.

Gah, so, the anonymous lurker is going to have to cast her vote down here. Since the only reason I would use an LJ would be to leave comments on your stories.

I say go for the ONE SHOT. I'm one of those people that when presented with a box of cookies, I like to eat them all at once and enjoy myself exponentially, rather than slowly draw out the pleasure one day at a time.

That, and I usually belong in camp WIP-phobe, except for your stuff, cause you update constantly and consistently and let us know when you plan on vanishing.

So yeah. One shot. I can be patient. I think.

I think this will probably end up happening, not just because of the poll but because it probably will end up read better that way.

i like the installment plan -- there's something very mark twain/charles dickens about reading fiction this way. it's like fanfiction has taught me how and why people used to put up with waiting for a month to see the next chapter of a novel from their favorite writer in a magazine.

but i'm a dork. and if you do post it all in one go, i'll probably read it all in one go :-P

I think it's taught me a lot about writing as I go along and what I can do to go back later and fix something that other people have pointed out as a mistake, but which those other people have seen, so I can't simply alter an earlier part of the story.

It'll probably be posted as a one-shot, at this point.
