May not be any updates today or tomorrow

I'm working on this bastard of a fest fic that I really want to get finished. I'm not that many words from the end, or so I've thought, but these last scenes are the longest in the entire story, and working on them slowly day-by-day is a) driving me crazy and b) probably not the best choice, because of their rhythm. So I'm putting my WiPs on hold until I finish this thing.

Luckily, I don't think I have more than 10- or 12,000 words to go until the end, 16,000 at the very outside. I have done that much in a single day before. Then I can start working on the others again.

Yes! The bastard fest-fic is done!

And it only took 10,000 words! I am awesome!

I also have a few more days than I thought I did to edit it and get it beta-ed (the fic is due on a Saturday instead of a Thursday). And if the fic is lumpy and uncoordinated yet, well, I'm going to smooth that out.
